Tommy
Thomas (Tommy) Aubrey Hagewood – born April 9, 1946, the third of five boys, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I was baptized by my Dad, W. P. Hagewood, on October 13, 1957 during a gospel meeting conducted by brother Harry Pickup, Sr. I was fortunate to grow-up under the preaching of brother Robert Jackson, my spiritual mentor. I preached my first sermon at age 15 in 1961. I married Ruby Gayle (Light) Hagewood on July 28, 1966 and we have three grown children, two sons and a daughter and six grandsons. I have preached for over 60 years, over 55 full-time at five congregations in Tennessee, Illinois, and Florida. I began as the regular preacher for the Beverly Shores church on January 6, 2013. I was appointed an elder on January 26, 2014. The Lord has truly blessed me and my family, and I pray I can be a blessing to others.
